Custom Window Perf Graphics – Harley Davidson

Innovative Signs installed this custom Harley Davidson graphics as window perf for a customer of ours. It went on the back window of a Ford Sport Trac. Window perf is a special kind of vinyl material that can be printed on. It can be seen through from the inside but is difficult to see through from the outside. This makes it a great option for store windows or where you want privacy but you can still see through from one side. Window perf is a printed product which means you can add whatever you want to it! This can be your company’s logo, a photo, or even just colored text and shapes.

Installing Window Perf

This is what the back window of the Sport Trac looked like when it first arrived. We were going to have to remove the Harley Davidson cut vinyl that already existed before we could install. It’s fine though, it’s going to be replaced with something much better.

After the vinyl was removed we could start the install. We cleaned the window glass to remove any remaining adhesive and dirt from the window. This could cause the graphic to lift later on and upset the customer if we didn’t. We aligned the graphic to the window and peeled away the backing material to expose the adhesive side. The excess material was carefully trimmed off and special vinyl sealant tape was applied on the edges to prevent the graphic from lifting.

There’s the finished product. As you can see it looks great and adding this kind of material to the back window of your vehicle you can not only express yourself but also use it to advertise a service or business.
