Pt 2. of 2 of the vehicle wrap install: Vinyl Install

After what was done in part 1 was completed we got to install the vinyl. The truck had all the old vinyl removed, cleaned and prepped for installation of the same printed graphics as the previous truck with slight adjustments. This truck was a slightly different truck but we managed to keep the same layout.

This is what the truck looked like after it was cleaned. We had already started installing the door graphics because we didn’t need to wait until the main graphics area was clean.

As for the vinyl install, the process is easy because we are dealing with a single large flat panel. The printed vinyl is aligned to the panel’s frame and backing paper removed. We worked our way from left to right, peeling away backing paper and using our vinyl install tools to lay down the material for a smooth fit.
