Cut vinyl truck decals on a semi truck

Innovative Signs has done some work for Jackson’s Trucking in the past. Mainly installing cut vinyl truck decals on a couple of their trucks. This job we also had to install cut vinyl truck decals on the side of the truck and rebuild some graphics. We had to rebuild the 05 flames in order to install it on another area of the truck.

When we first got the truck we had to remove all the old vinyl. The old vinyl wasn’t going to be used however we needed to recreate the flaming 05 so we could make it go somewhere else on the truck. After the old vinyl was removed and the truck cleaned we were able to start adding the new cut vinyl graphics for the vehicle.

This is the flaming 05 we had to rebuild. It was already on the truck but the customer wanted a new one made to be placed somewhere else. We took a trace of the flaming 05 in order to rebuild it. The rebuilt graphic is under it.

Here are the before, during and after pictures we took of this install. We had to remove the existing vinyl from the sides and install new vinyl to complete this job.

Most of the vinyl has been removed. Now to remove the rest and clean it up. 

We can now start applying the vinyl. The vinyl is actually a background vinyl and then another vinyl on top of that to give the text a stroke outline effect.

The truck vinyl install is finished. It turned out great and the customer likes it.
