Specialty Vinyl
Innovative Signs can print and install specialty vinyl
Besides the usual printed and cut vinyl we commonly use, we also offer a range of specialty and industrial grade vinyl material. These unique vinyls have a wide range of uses. Here are some examples of what they are.
Arlon 8000 Eng Grade Vinyl Graphics
This vinyl material is a tough, high temperature, pressure sensitive vinyl. It is applied using a heat roller. The heat roller is required because this vinyl needs heat and pressure in order to be applied to a hard to stick surface. This vinyl is meant for hard to stick surfaces, high traffic areas and harsh environments. Such applications include:
- Concrete walls/floors
- Pavement
- Brick
- Stone
- Windows on large buildings
We added our logo onto our building to use as an example of this material. As you can see the vinyl appears it was melted or sprayed on. The thickness of the vinyl allows it to “fill” into the surface.
A closeup shot reveals more. Comparing the brick surface to that of the vinyl on it.
IJ 40
This specialty vinyl is more for floor graphics such as carpet and tile. If you have been to our showroom and seen the small shoes that are on our tile floor, this would be an example use for this specialty vinyl material. These floor graphics are covered with a non slip laminate to prevent slipping when the graphic becomes wet and someone stepping over it. Example uses for this can be:
- Carpeting
- Tile floors
- Rubberized floors
Koro Graphics
If you are looking for artistic wall coverings, try Koro Graphics. This material prints normally but it has many different textures to give a smooth wall the look of a textured surface. These can be installed on interior walls such as offices or even in your own home. We have some in our showroom to show customers the possibilities of this type of specialty vinyl.
All of these specialty vinyls we have in stock and we will be happy to assist in the design and installation of such graphics. Visit our contact us page on our website for more information.
