My 92.9 Radio Station Vehicle Wrap
A local radio station vehicle wrap done by Innovative Signs
This is a full wrap for the radio station My 92.9 in Tucson, part of Clear Channel Communications. The customer sent us the artwork and we had to scale it onto the vehicle, print and install. A vehicle wrap like this starts out by taking measurements and/or using a vehicle template to accurately scale the vehicle and the graphics that will go on it. Then we added the customer provided graphics to come up with a mockup for the radio station vehicle wrap.
This is what the vehicle looked like before any graphics were put on it. We were in the process of removing bumper, lights and other fixtures to make the install easier.
Next we can start installing the vinyl for the radio station vehicle wrap project. We start with one side and then work our way around.
This is the driver side with some of the printed graphics installed. The windows are going to be covered with a special material called window perf. Now for some further progress on this project. When we finish with the printed vinyl we will install window perf on the windows. Window perf is usually last to be installed because we need the printed vinyl as a guide to align the window perf.
Now for the completed pictures. We even wrapped the roof. The windows were done in window perf and the bumpers wrapped with 3M IJ480 Envision Ultra Conformable. 3M IJ180 was used as the main printed material which is considered one of the best medias for vehicle wraps. This wrap turned out great and the customer loved how it turned out.
