Innovative Signs installs cut vinyl lettering on a truck for Hartman Glass, Mirror & Metal

This project was to design and install cut vinyl lettering on their truck to help promote and advertise Hartman Glass, Mirror and Metal. The design portion of this job was to take their info and add it to their truck in the best way possible. The install part of the project was to install the cut vinyl graphics to the truck. We took pictures and measurements of their truck for this. This is done to give an accurate price cost of the cut vinyl lettering and how it will look like on the truck. Cut vinyl lettering is a great alternative to doing a full vehicle wrap when you want to keep the cost down. Cut vinyl lettering is just one of many ways you can use your vehicle to advertise your business.

Here is what the truck looked like before any design and install was done. It’s just a white truck but we can make it look great by adding cut vinyl lettering to it to advertise their business.

Using their contact info and other info provided by the customer and where the text needed to go, we designed a mock up of the truck using a template. The colors of the cut vinyl lettering was going to be red and black using high performance vinyl for a long lasting product. The vinyl lettering will be going on 3 sides of the truck. The best places to put cut vinyl lettering on a truck are on the doors and tailgate. You can also consider the wheel fenders but because of the small area these are ok for only small amounts of text.

Luckily for us there was no vinyl that needed to be removed. When the truck was dropped off we only had to clean the surface and then get started installing the vinyl. We used the mock up as a guide to doing the install accurately and with no mistakes.  Here is the truck with the cut vinyl lettering installed.
