Breezeways Van Wrap Nov 2013
Vehicle wraps in Tucson – Breezeways
Innovative Signs of Tucson does a lot of vehicle wraps in Tucson. This job was for Breezeways. These vans and trucks are part of Breezeways Air conditioning and Heating vehicle fleet. Just like their previous trucks and vans they brought to us we had to remove the old graphics. Our Tucson based sign shop has all the tools and experience needed for fleet vehicle wraps. We have done fleet based vehicle wraps for Northwest Exterminating, Breezeways, Wi-Power and Cummings Plumbing. With fleet vehicle wraps each vehicle must be consistent with every other vehicle. Our high quality print, graphic design and experienced installers will keep things consistent to keep up your brand image across multiple vehicles. Thank you Breezeways for doing business with us, the best choice for vehicle wraps in Tucson.
Vinyl Removals
Removing the old vinyl from the van required us to use propane torches and scrapers to peel away the old vinyl. This process can be fast or slow depending on the condition the vinyl is in. Areas such as hoods and roofs of vehicles are the worst because of higher heat and sun exposure. The sides can also be bad if the vehicle was parked in an area with sun exposure and the vehicle was never moved. Depending on how bad the vehicle is, it may have to be repainted. Sometimes the vinyl becomes cooked into the paint and peeling away the vinyl will sometimes remove pieces of paint. This happens when the vinyl is exposed to high heat for long periods of time. Like the hood and roof of the vehicle. Here’s the pictures of when we got the van and started removing the old vinyl.
Here is the van brought back to us after being repainted. We are just about ready to begin installing the printed graphics for our Breezeways van wrap.
Installing graphics for Breezeways
We rebuilt the logo and designed the vehicle wraps for Breezeways. Each van and truck have a consistent theme that promotes the brand image of their company. The layout can be a little different due to the sizes of the vehicles which you can’t avoid. We first start the install process by using our wide format printer. These are awesome full color printed graphics that we print in house. After they are finished printing we wait 24hrs for the prints to dry. After 24hrs we laminate and contour cut the graphics and then trim. These are the graphics we will be installing.
Now we can get started on installing the graphics onto the van. We started working on the rear first.
Now that the back has been wrapped we are going to work on the driver and passenger sides of this van. We use the printed proofs to determine where each graphic goes. Then we tape down the graphic to the vehicle with masking tape and tackle each one by itself. When applying the graphic we remove one end of tape, stick it down and then remove the opposite tape and stick that down. This way the alignment doesn’t get changed.
The van wrap for Breezeways is finished!
