Bicycle rim vinyl lettering
Innovative Signs installs vinyl lettering on a bicycle rim
Here is another project involving cut vinyl. This one is a similar job to one we did previously for this customer except it is a new wheel which you can see here. The new wheel meant that the graphics from the previous wheel would need to be resized to fit the new wheel. The new sized graphics were designed onto the wheel digitally as a proof. This carbon fiber rim was scaled to actual size and the text and images superimposed over it as a mockup. This mockup would be used in the install of these graphics to show how the vinyl lettering is going to be installed. This job required some printing as well for the Masters logo. The white Masters logo is vinyl but we would have the printed colored portion over it.
This is what the wheel looked like before we installed any vinyl lettering on it. We had to keep the vinyl lettering set within the inner rim and not have any of it touch where the brakes would make contact with the rim. The outer edge of the rim is where the brakes would make contact with the rim so we couldn’t have any vinyl there.
These printed Masters logo stickers will go over the white Masters logo vinyl.
Here is the finished rim. The vinyl lettering is the same for the opposite side too.
