Aluminum with cut vinyl signs for Skanska

As part of our continuing signage jobs for Skanska, we designed and built some additional signage for them. This job required us to follow signage criteria set forth by the government that must be followed. The signs had a specific size or a specific letter height requirement. After the requirements were read and understood we built proofs of the signs. The proofs had sign sizes and quantities needed. We did this so the customer and ourselves are on the same page as far as what is needed. This sign order was large but the signs were actually small. Cut vinyl was used for the messages and graphics of the signs. Aluminum and cut vinyl signs are the best type of sign for extreme environments or when you need a sign to last a long time. If you used a printed and PVC sign in an outdoor environment the print will fade and the plastic will dry out and crack.

These are the aluminum blanks that were cut and now ready for use in Skanska signs.

Now the aluminum panels have cut vinyl text on them.

When working with multiple colors of vinyl each color has to be set separately. Such as these danger signs done in black and red vinyl.
