Innovative Signs installs wood grain graphics on the side of a 1951 Ford Meteor Victoria

We were given the opportunity to come up with a printed graphic for install on a 1951 Ford Meteor Victoria. The graphic we needed to come up with and install was wood grain. The wood grain we would use would be a vector graphic.

This is the vehicle that was dropped off. We took measurements and pictures of it so we could come up with a mock up and price for the customer. We were going to be adding wood grain graphics to the trim areas on the driver and passenger sides.

This is the mock up we came up with. The customer wanted a left and right grain that didn’t have any knots of twists in it.

First thing we did to the car was prep it for install. This means cleaning the area where the wood grain graphics would be installed at. The customer placed tape around the area where the graphics would be ok to be installed but not to go beyond this area.

Here’s the finished pictures of this install. The print turned out awesome and the job was done quickly.

It will look even better once the trim is put back on.
