Innovative Signs takes part in a race car vinyl install

This is a vinyl install and sponsorship for a customer for an asphalt oval race car. We are providing the graphics creation and install at a discounted cost due to us sponsoring him. This is how we put together this install.

Race car vinyl install – building the graphics

First step is we took pictures and measurements of the car. That way we can build the graphics and provide a cost. After this step is completed we build mockups of the car to show the customer what it will look like. After a graphics approval we started to cut the vinyl needed for the install. Here is what the car looked like before our race car vinyl install. The colors we would use would be those that had contrast to the car’s paint color so they will stand out.

Once the vehicle was dropped off at our shop we started the vinyl install process. We take the proofs as guides for our race car vinyl install project. We align the graphics according to the proof with special wrap magnets. This is to keep them in place while we level the vinyl graphics.

After installing the vinyl graphics on the race car here is what it looked like. We added our ISR logo to this car and same with other race/competitive vehicles that we sponsor. Here are the finished pictures of this race car vinyl install.
